Office Comedy

Anyone who has ever worked in any office anywhere in the world knows that some of the weirdest and funniest office comedy is what occurs in real life. Pointing out the absurdities of real people's action and comments is often funnier than some of the made-up jokes. But of course I have lots of both. Let us get this section established with the chain of command...

THE PLAN

In the beginning was The Plan

And then came the Assumptions

And the Assumptions were without form

And The Plan was completely without substance

And darkness was upon the faces of the workers

And they spake amongst themselves, saying:

"It is a Crock of Shit, and it stinketh"

And so the workers went to their supervisors and sayeth:

"It is a Pail of Dung, and none may abide the odour thereof"

And the supervisors went to their managers, and sayeth unto them:

"It is a Container of Excrement, and it is very strong, such that none may abide it"

And the managers went to their directors and sayeth unto them:

"It is a Vessel of Fertilizer, and none may abide its strength"

And the directors went to their Assistant VP and sayeth:

"It contains that which aids plant growth, and it is very strong"

And the Assistant VP went unto the VP and sayeth unto him:

"This powerful new plan will actively promote the growth and efficiency of the department, and this area in particular"

And the VP presented The Plan to the President

And the President looked upon The Plan and saw that it was good.
